Malte Stromwall: "I feel like I am helping the team in the right way"

HC SKA forward Malte Stromwall:

- We came out pretty hard with lots of energy. It was nice to score the first goal during the early stages, it gave us something to build on. We drew a lot of penalties out of the opponents today, we had a good powerplay and we were solid during the second period. However, we did allow Spartak to have too many odd-man rushes. Nevertheless, we worked well overall, and we were tight in the third period and didn't allow them to have many chances. Magnus Hellberg was excellent in net too, it's comfortable to have him there behind us knowing that he's going to make the saves.

- Have you fully settled here with SKA now?

- I felt good immediately after joining SKA in December, but then I got a little injury and it was tough recovering. It was a difficult period for me, I couldn't gain any points for a long time. After that, though, I got to grips with the system and I feel like I have been playing the right way again in the last three games. I'm a goalscorer, I know that I can help the team with goals. I'm starting to feel comfortable. It's different to play for a big club like this, there's more pressure and higher expectations. I do now feel that I'm coping with these factors now while helping the team.
