Lada - SKA. Match facts

SKA became the first KHL club to earn 500 victories in regulation time in the regular season. It took SKA 864 matches to achieve this.
From just 83 competitive appearances, Alexander Nikishin has already dished out 50 SKA assists. No SKA defenseman had ever previously gained 50 assists in less than 100 games.
At the age of 19 years, 5 months and 1 day, Sergei Ivanov picked up his maiden KHL shutout. However, the SKA record still belongs to Yaroslav Askarov, who registered his first shutout in the league when 18 years, 3 months and 1 day of age against Spartak Moscow (2:0) on September 17th, 2020. Sergei is second in the ranking when it comes to SKA goalkeepers who recorded their first KHL shutouts when under the age of 20.
This marked the fourth game in history when three SKA players at once scored their first competitive goals for our club, with forwards Brendan Leipsic, Ivan Zinchenko and Vladimir Alistrov all hitting the jackpot against Lada in Tolyatti. The previous three had all be staged at home in Saint Petersburg against Yugra Khanty-Mansiysk (7:5, 10 September 2012), Salavat Yulaev Ufa (7:1, 25 August 2016) and Admiral Vladivostok (9:2, 6 September 2021).
This marked the maiden occasion when Alistrov picked up three (1+2) points in one KHL game. His previous personal best had been two points in one match.
Zinchenko became the fourth SKA player in the KHL to score his first goal for our organisation while competing shorthanded, following in the footsteps of Mark Popovic (2008/2009 season), Viktor Gordiyuk (2008/2009 season) and Fredrik Handemark (2021/2022 season).
