Ilya Kovalchuk: "We're on the right track"

- What is your secret of taking points in eight matches in a row?

- There's no secret. My line is playing well, we're creating chances for each other, and are managing to score.

- From six of the past matches, you have taken four victories. Are you not sad that the third period lasts only for twenty minutes?

- Teams want to play their best against us. It's always nice to play in the atmosphere which our Ice Palace holds. Everyone fights when playing us. It's good, that we are finding the strength to win.

- Does six wins in a row mean that SKA have found their form?

- We're getting into it. We all understand what we are playing for this season. We're on the right track.

- How did you receive the news of Steve Moses' transfer to SKA?

- He's a good forward, and will fight for a place in our line-up (smiling).

- Viktor Tikhonov has been placed on the list of unwanted players in the NHL. Are you waiting for him in Saint Petersburg?

- I know that he really wanted to play in the NHL. First of all, I want things to work out for him there. It's good that Roman Rotenberg phoned him up and supported him. He is a part of the SKA family, and we don't get rid of our own people.
