Facts of Wednesday's eventful home battle against Nizhnekamsk

Across 316 KHL appearances, Trevor Murphy has dished out 150 assists while playing for Kunlun Red Star, Ak Bars Kazan, Sibir Novosibirsk and SKA Saint Petersburg. He has become the 30th defenseman in history to record a minimum of 150 assists. Interestingly, 12 of those 30 players have represented SKA.

Matvei Korotky boasts 10 (5+5) points from 15 matches this season so far, a new personal KHL record for the forward. In the preceding campaign, he picked up nine (5+4) points across 30 games.

Furthermore, as a consequence of his late equaliser in the third period, Matvei became the first SKA player no older than 20 to score in the concluding minute of regulation time of a KHL regular season game. At the time of the goal, Matvei was 19 years, 9 months and 22 days old.

Dinar Khafizullin became the first defenseman to tally points both for and against SKA and Neftekhimik in KHL matches between the two clubs.
