Igor Larionov shares his thoughts after defeating Severstal away

HC SKA head coach Igor Larionov:

"It was a really interesting match full of mistakes from both sides. From our point of view, I'm happy that our guys displayed patience, character and emerged victorious. Thank you to our fans for their fantastic support, we certainly heard them. We repaid them with our good performance."

Conceding early goals in the first two periods...

"We don't normally concede early goals. Today, however, we lacked concentration at the start of the game. The second marker was scored while Severstal were on the powerplay. During such a long season, unusual mistakes can appear when you reach late November/early December."

Why the game had 10 goals...

"We can talk about mistakes from the goalkeepers and defensemen, but both teams displayed attacking ice hockey. No one sat back. In my opinion, such games serve as great adverts for the KHL. Even though their team lost, I'm sure that the home fans still received a lot of positive emotions from this match."
