Igor Larionov speaks after playing Lokomotiv in Yaroslavl

HC SKA head coach Igor Larionov:
"We were lacking luck today. We were obliged to score while playing 5-on-3, but we have to give credit to the Yaroslavl goalkeeper. This was the key factor in this match."
Wasting the 5-on-3 powerplay...
"Yes, this was the decisive moment. As coaches, we had just been watching back the moment when Matvei Korotky made an extra pass instead of shooting during that particular powerplay. Instead of making that pass, he should have just taken the shot and scored. A Lokomotiv player was without his stick, too, so it was practically a 5-on-2. We should have scored."
Three defeats to Lokomotiv during October...
"The first game here in Yaroslavl was excellent from a tactical point of view. The return match in Saint Petersburg was even, but were lacking emotion. Today's game was of playoff level. We knew that the opponents like to compete aggressively in a fast manner, their approach is based around shooting. We made mistakes for their first and third goals."
Korotky's injury...
"Hopefully, it's not a serious one. He hasn't broken any bones. We can say that it's a lower-body injury, but the full extent of it will only become clear tomorrow."
Ivanov continuing to play in net...
"At the moment, Artemiy Pleshkov is still out with his injury, so we decided to keep Ivanov in our goal after he had helped us win two consecutive games. He played solidly today, making the big saves to keep us in the match."
