Evgeny Timkin: "I'm sure that the new players will quickly settle"

SKA forward Evgeny Timkin:

- Did you manage to relax away from ice hockey this summer?

-Yes, I relaxed by the sea, recovered from the season and had a great holiday.

- Before returning to Saint Petersburg, did you hold any individual training sessions?

- Since the start of the month, I had been working with a coach and I skated on the ice a couple of times.

- New SKA defenseman Stepan Falkovsky is even taller than you!

- He is a defenseman, while I am a forward. Stepan is a big guy, it's strange for me to look up to someone when speaking! I think that we will get on well.

- Do you know any of SKA's new signings?

- No, but I am sure that they will quickly settle into the group, that won't be a problem.

- What are your plans for the 2021/2022 campaign?

- As always, we are going for the KHL Gagarin Cup! I think that our supporters have missed seeing SKA win championships, so it's time to put that right.

- Say a few words for our fans.

- I am really looking forward to competing at the Ice Palace again! I want to ask our fans for their support, they are fantastic. We will try to make them happy with our victories!
