Evgeny Dadonov: "We want to be in first place"

- It was a difficult match for us, we lost a lot of strength.

- What is the reason behind such a hard game?

- We were losing at one point. Spartak fought hard, they made sure that they played tight defence. They played at a high pace.

- Is it important to be in first place?

- It would be great to be first, but we'll have to see how things work out. We go out to win every game.

- Are you already thinking about the Gagarin Cup?

- We're moving towards it. We have a goal of winning it.

- At the start of the match, instead of shooting, you were moving the puck around a lot when on the powerplay. Did you underestimate Spartak?

- Against CSKA, even if they lost, statistically Spartak were better. On the powerplay, we failed to use our goalscoring chances.
