Jarno Koskiranta: “I always have extra motivation against Sibir”

- Share your impressions from the game.

- It’s a good win. It was a bit tiring at the end of the first two periods, but the fact that we started the third on the powerplay helped us.

- After losing four matches, the team has now put together five consecutive victories. What has changed?

- Sometimes, even when you play excellently, you lose. We didn’t begin too well against Dinamo Riga and CSKA Moscow, but now, we are starting matches better.

- Previously, you were a Sibir player. Are matches with Novosibirsk special for you?

- Yes, of course. I know a lot of Sibir’s players and management, it always gives me extra motivation.

- Next up is Jokerit, a team which SKA lost to in Helsinki. Your thoughts on that match?

- It’s a big game. They are battling for a playoff spot, while we are trying to keep a hold of first place. We had a great first match against them in Saint Petersburg, but it’s going to be a hard game.
