The Gagarin Cup final. Game Three
The Gagarin Cup final. Game Three

Today on the 15th of April, SKA will take on Ak Bars inside the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace for the third game of this KHL Gagarin Cup final series.
It has been a perfect series for our team so far, as SKA took two priceless wins away from Kazan 4:2 and 1:0 respectively. In the first match our players were dominant for the most part, scoring some beautiful goals along the way. Artemiy Panarin's opener was followed up by clever goals from Patrick Thoresen, Yevgeni Dadonov and Vadim Shipachyov, and despite two late Ak Bars efforts the team hung on. The second game was a more tense affair, with only one goal being scored. Thankfully it was scored by a SKA player, as Anton Burdasov netted with 59 seconds left in the opening period. The hosts then piled the pressure on as time rolled on, but were denied by a superb Mikko Koskinen performance.
Indeed following that shutout Mikko has an impressive 93.6% saves percentage to his name. Vadim Shipachyov is the team's top overall scorer in the playoffs so far with 21 points (6+15), and defenceman Anton Belov has blocked more shots than anyone else (37).
We ask all attending fans coming to the stadium today to take their seats no later than 19.15. On your seat you will find a special shirt that we ask you wear, and also a mosaic card that will need to be held up during the national anthem. This is the first final in the club's history, and let's make it an unforgettable atmosphere! Only together can we win!
The SKA - Ak Bars match will begin at 19.30 local time inside the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace. 100 TV, KHL TV, KHL TV HD and Rossiya 2 will all broadcast the game live, whereas you can keep up to date with events either by following our matchcentre, or our official twitter account.
