The Gagarin Cup final. Game Four

Today on the 17th of April, SKA and HC Ak Bars Kazan will face each other for the fourth time in this KHL Gagarin Cup final series.

With three matched behind us SKA currently lead 2:1, and that does mean that whatever happens today, there will be a fifth game in Kazan on Sunday. In the first two clashes of the series our team were practically flawless, taking 4:2 and 1:0 wins respectively. Mikko Koskinen was the main hero grabbing a shutout for himself in the second, while in the previous game Vadim Shipachyov's second line picked up five points combined. It was a different story in Saint Petersburg however, as Ak Bars struck back with a 2:1 victory. Tony Martensson opened up the scoring in the first period, before two Yevgeni Medvedev and Alexander Svitov goals late on swung the tide.

We ask all fans coming to the arena today not to take their seats later than 19.15. Every seat will have a special mosaic card to be held up during the national anthem, and together we can create an unforgettable atmosphere! Only together can we win, Saint Petersburg is with us!

The SKA - Ak Bars match will begin at 19.30 local time inside the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace. 100 TV, KHL TV, KHL TV HD and Rossiya 2 will all broadcast the game live, whereas you can keep up to date with events by following either our matchcentre, or our official twitter account.
