HC SKA head coach Ilya Vorobyov:

- From our point of view, it was a very good game. We scored at the right time. The guys stuck to the tactical plan and did a great job.

- Is the difference in class between the Western and Eastern leaders this big?

- Today, we managed to score our goals, but all matches are different. In the Far East, we didn't win by huge scores.

- SKA players appeared fresher. Did you have special motivation?

- Maybe the mindset played a role. We were playing against a good opponent and we started well.

HC Avtomobilist Yekaterinburg head coach Andrei Martemyanov:

- I congratulate the opponents with their victory. I take all of the blame for this defeat, I didn't prepare the players well enough. In such matches, the smallest of mistakes decide the outcome. Two individual mistakes were made for the second and third goals. We had chances, but, unfortunately, we didn't take advantage of them. I have some questions for the players concerning how they followed the game plan. They were committed, however they weren't burning with desire.

- Your powerplay units played without imagination.

- We're constantly working on this. Personally, I think that the guys are struggling both mentally and physically. We will make some changes. The opponents are also studying our tactics, and in recent matches, we haven't competed on the powerplay very often. We will continue working patiently and the result will come.

- Avtomobilist seemed to start this match rather passively.

- I agree. The opponents dominated in terms of movement. Later, we improved.
