Anton Burdasov and Vladimir Tkachyov share their opinions about beating Neftekhimik

SKA forward Anton Burdasov:

- Yes, Neftekhimik had a lot of young players, but they didn't want to lose. They were given a chance and tried their best, it's clear that they have a good generation of players waiting. Were there too many passes in the play for my goal? No, we planned to do that. The opponents had prepared for our normal powerplay scheme. Last season, we were 21st in terms of our powerplay performance, but that aspect of the game has improved since Valery Bragin arrived. Our percentage was 50% in the playoffs.

SKA forward Vladimir Tkachyov:

- I think that we have a good season ahead of us, recent results have shown this. Every team is fighting hard. There won't be any easy games, we will have to fight for every victory.
