Alexei Ponikarovsky: "Jokerit used all of their opportunities"

- Both teams have beaten each at home this season, while losing away.

- In some moments we played better, and at home we crashed the net more. Today we had some chances, but didn't take advantage of them and Jokerit used all of their opportunities.

- Before the first goal, it was an even game. Why did you end the first period so badly?

- We tried to get back into the game, we started playing with only three lines. A goal was scored in the final seconds of the second stanza. In the third we had a desire to get back on level terms, but we conceded again on the counterattack.

- Are you thinking about who will be your opponents in the KHL playoffs?

- It's not important who you are playing against, the playoffs differ from the regular season. Every component in every match will be crucial, we have to play simple hockey.

- This season, the playoffs begin a couple of days after the regular season has finished. Does this bring new difficulties for you?

- The team will be in good playing shape - you can lose that when having long breaks. When you play constantly, it's easier to begin the playoffs. I don't see any problems in this.
