This marked SKA’s 1200th KHL match. 992 have been contested in the regular season, with the remaining 208 having been witnessed in the Gagarin Cup playoffs. SKA have achieved 809 victories (676 in the regular season, 133 in the playoffs) to date.

Interestingly, only Ak Bars Kazan (1259) and Metallurg Magnitogorsk (1216) have participated in more KHL games than SKA.
Alexander Nikishin has now scored more goals in the domestic championship than any other SKA defenseman with 49 markers on the board. Furthermore, Nikishin’s 112 SKA appearances with a minimum of one point on the board is also a new club record. He has left behind his nearest challengers Dmitry Kalinin (111), Anton Belov (104) and Dinar Khafizullin (100).

Nikishin is the first SKA defenseman in history to score at least five OT winners. The previous record had been held by Patrik Hersley, who had scored four overtime goals for SKA.
