Admiral - SKA. Match day

SKA's lengthy trip of Siberia and the Russian Far East will come to an end today against HC Admiral Vladivostok.
This will probably be the toughest game of the whole road trip today as Admiral aren't the nicest opponents for us at all. SKA have only played in Vladivostok once before in 2013, and could only take away one point in a 4:5 shootout reverse. Last season the teams only met in Saint Petersburg, and SKA had to work hard for a comeback 4:3 victory. Admiral have changed since then however, and during the off season a lot of names came and went. Netminder Igor Bobkov arrived from America, Pascal Pelletier from Medvescak, and talented Russian forward Nikita Filatov from HC Yugra. Their number one goaltender has been ex SKA man Ivan Nalimov though, as he boats a 94.1% saves percentage to his name. This will only be Admiral's second home game after beating HC Spartak Moscow 4:1 the other day, and their away trip in Western Europe ended successfully as they took six points which included a 4:3 win over HC Dynamo Moscow on penalty shots.
Our team will be happy to return to Saint Petersburg after this game after a tough road trip, however the players finally got off the mark with a 3:0 beating of HC Amur in Khabarovsk. Anton Burdasov was the hero there notching two points (1+1, and Vadim Shipachyov is eligeable to return to the side after sitting out a ban.
The Admiral - SKA match will begin at 12.30 Moscow time inside the Fetisov Arena, Vladivostok. 100 TV and KHL TV will both broadcast the game live, whereas you can keep up to date with events live by following our official Twitter feed.
