HC SKA head coach Igor Larionov:

"I would like to congratulate CSKA with their win. From our point of view, I'm proud of our guys' character and the fact that they continued to battle hard. Yes, it's disappointing to lose, but there are more positives than negatives. We will now have three days in which to prepare for our next set of games."

Difficulties of playing CSKA...

"It's good that we earned points in Chelyabinsk and Astana. However, better teams only need a couple of chances to score. We gave CSKA far too many opportunities today. Instead of helping our opponents, we want to win matches ourselves. Trevor Murphy is ready to play again, so this will help us in terms of our defensive rotations."
