Facts of SKA’s emphatic home triumph over CSKA

SKA have now achieved 900 home victories in the domestic championship! Our first win on home ice had initially been recorded on 29 December 1953 against Dynamo Sverdlovsk (12:2).
It’s worth noting that the first 268 triumphs had been registered in the USSR Championship.
Forward Nikita Dishkovsky became the first SKA player in KHL history to score a shorthanded goal and convert a penalty shot during regulation time of one single match.
For the first time in his KHL career, goalkeeper Sergei Ivanov tallied two consecutive shutouts. Furthermore, 132 minutes and 26 seconds without conceding a goal is indeed a personal best. Sergei has consequently become the 12th SKA goaltender to pick up a minimum of two clean sheets on the bounce.
Forward Rocco Grimaldi is the only player on either team to gain at least one point in all four matches between SKA and CSKA Moscow as a part of the 2025/2026 regular season. Overall, he gained five (3+2) points against these particular opponents.
