12 thousand tickets in 12 hours!

Almost all tickets for the first two Western Conference semi-final matches against Dynamo Moscow have been sold. SKA vice-president Roman Rotenberg commented on this achievement:

- On Friday we began selling the tickets for Western Conference semi-finals, and already on Saturday almost all of them have been sold. You can only buy a few separate tickets in different sectors of the Ice Palace.

During the last few years we have been trying to attract full houses not only for games with the best teams, but also with lesser known sides. The most important matches are now upon us, and we had no doubt that the fans would be very eager to purchase tickets. Even we were surprised though that 16 tickets were being sold for every minute. We only knew that Dynamo would be our next opponents yesterday, so this shows that fans want to come to the games no matter who the opponents are. Games between SKA and Dynamo Moscow are the El Clasico of Russian ice hockey, and we have no doubt the the remaining tickets will be snapped up very quickly.

I also want to congratulate all women with the eighth of March. Every year there are increasing amounts of women coming to the arena, and they already occupy a third of the attendance. I wish all of our female fans happiness, and more victories of SKA!
