Vyacheslav Bykov inside the Ice Palace

- It's great to see you in the Ice Palace!

- And it's great to see you in the Ice Palace too, I have not seen this atmosphere, the fans and my friends for a long time. I've got goosebumps on my skin as I say this, as I have great memories from what we achieved together.

- How are you enjoying the game so far (the conversation was recorded during the first break).

- I think that we could have been leading with a more serious score than 1:0, but the score is now 1:2 (the match finished with SKA winning 3:2 - ska.ru). Looking at the dynamics and the skating we were better, especially during the first half of the period. Dynamo's strange goal has turned the game around though, but I think that the guys will work as they need to.

- You still say "we".

- Of course! I saw we, because we are a team.

- What plans do you have for your holiday in Saint Petersburg?

- I will spend time with my friends. I have some personal things to do as well, but the main objective of my trip was to come here to this match.

- Have you kept up to date with SKA's results in Switzerland?

- I mostly read on the internet, as unfortunately not all games are shown. However, today I am getting satisfaction.

- SKA have changed a lot compared to last season.

- You can regret about the fact that a lot of players have left the team. Nevertheless, new players have arrived and the squad is still good. The new faces are slowly adapting, and they will begin to feel more comfortable and show the game that the fans are expecting from them. Time are patience are needed. Sometimes it's though, but it is the way it is.

- What would you say to the fans that keep on selling the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace out?

- There is no other option that to keep supporting the team in such a grand way, that goes both to the fan sector and to all Saint Petersburg hockey supporters. They will always support SKA. Yes, tough times arise, but you can't live without them - just look at what is going on in the world today. The players are trying their best. Something isn't working yet, but they always want the result. We should support them.
