CSKA - SKA. Game Two

28 March 2015

Today on the 28th of March, the second game of this KHL Gagarin Cup Western Conference final between CSKA and SKA will take place in Moscow.

The first game didn't go too well for our team, as CSKA proved lethal in front of goal running out 3:0 winners. After a cautious start CSKA struck first through Alexander Radulov, and they increased their advantage in the second frame with Roman Lyubimov finding the net. SKA had plenty of opportunities to get back into things wasting plenty of powerplays, but it wasn't to be as an Jan Mursak marker with a man's advantage finished the game off. It was a match full of controversy though, as CSKA's Yevgeni Artyukhin completely took out Dmitry Kalinin leaving Dmitry with a horrible leg injury. After review the KHL have however ruled it a clean play, and they also didn't opt to punish our captain Ilya Kovalchuk for his incident with Alexander Radulov.

Remember that after today the series will move back to Saint Petersburg, where the third and fourth games of the series will be held inside the Ice Palace on the 30th of March and 1st of April.

The CSKA - SKA match will begin at 17.00 local time inside the LDS CSKA, Moscow. 100 TV, KHL TV, KHL TV HD and Rossiya 2 will all broadcast the game live, whereas you can keep up to date with events by following either our matchcentre, or our official twitter account.
