Our first goal which was scored by forward Mikhail Vorobyov marked SKA's 100th in 32 KHL away matches against Spartak Moscow. Consequently, Spartak became the fourth team after Vityaz Moscow Region, Dynamo Moscow and CSKA Moscow to concede a minimum of 100 markers when hosting SKA in the league.

Thanks to his pass in the opening stanza, Alexander Nikishin now boasts 72 assists for SKA in the KHL regular season. Overall, he now possesses more assists in the history of the regular season than any other SKA defenseman.

Before Spartak did score in the third period, Nikita Serebryakov hadn't conceded across 207 minutes and 18 seconds of play. This is a new personal record for our goalkeeper.

Forward Sergei Tolchinsky made his 50th competitive appearance for SKA. So far, he has contributed with 39 (13+26) points. It's worth noting that this was the first time when Sergei managed to net two goals in one match for our organisation.

Both Nikishin and Tolchinsky are yet to miss a single game for SKA this season. If we take into account the previous campaign, Nikishin has participated in 82 consecutive matches.

Fellow forward Nikolai Polyakov also competed in his 50th KHL match for our senior team. To date, he has recorded 13 (3+9) points, with 10 (2+8) of them having been earned in the current campaign.

Defenseman Artyom Zemchyonok made his 100th KHL assist in his 539th league match. 18 of them have been tallied as a SKA player.

In 134 competitive SKA games, forward Valentin Zykov has recorded 50 (21+29) points.

Fellow forward Arseniy Gritsyuk has now gained at least one point in six successive games, picking up eight (4+4) along the way. Six matches in a row with a minimum of one point is a repeat of Arseniy's personal KHL best.

Spartak forward Ilya Kovalchuk, who is indeed SKA's leading goalscorer in KHL history with 161 markers, played against our team for the fifth time in the domestic championship. He has earned at least one point in all of those five games. Interestingly, his preceding four matches against SKA had been witnessed in the 2004/2005 (three for Ak Bars Kazan) and 2005/2006 (one for Khimik Voskresensk) seasons.
