Among forwards, Ilya Kovalchuk has scored more winning goals for SKA in the KHL than anyone else (25), while Patrik Hersley is the leader among defensemen with 14 winners to his name. Before the 2020/2021 campaign, 96 different players had scored winning goals for our club, but Vasily Podkolzin, Miro Aaltonen, Ivan Volodin and Vladislav Kamenev subsequently raised that tally to 100.

Defenseman Dinar Khafizullin made his 350th competitive appearance for SKA. This is the first time when forward Yakov Trenin has earned more than one point in one single SKA match. Yakov scored one goal and dished out one assist yesterday.

Finnish forward Miro Aaltonen is the third KHL player to score both for and against SKA and Vityaz for both teams. Maxim Afinogenov and Alexander Kucheryavenko achieved the same feat in the past.
