SKA - CSKA. Press-conference of Game Three

HC CSKA Moscow head coach Dmitry Kvartalnov:
- It was a hard match. We're playing against a very strong and powerful team, and we are playing with patience. The guys did a good job, and in some moments we got lucky. You have to win four games to win this series, and on Wednesday another game is coming up.
- Roman Lyubimov is becoming a nightmare for SKA to handle with. What made you come up with the decision to place him in the first line?
- Roman has been playing down the middle for a while now. Stephane Da Costa should return soon, but so far Roman is doing a good job. Maybe he has some chemistry with his line partners.
HC SKA head coach Vyacheslav Bykov:
- I congratulate Dmitry and his team with the win. I think that our poor performance on special teams led up to us losing, and after the opponents went ahead they made it hard for us to peg them back. We will now keep on preparing, and while there is a chance the guys will play for the win.
- What can SKA do to break down CSKA's hard pressing?
- We need to play at a quicker pace and make fast passes.
- Why are no players on the crease when on the powerplay?
- That question is also on our lips. We want our players to be on the slot, but it's difficult for them to be there.
- You tinkered around with your lines after the first period. Why?
- Unfortunately Yevgeni Ketov picked up an injury, and as a result we had to make some changes.
- Going into the changing room after the game, did you see the desire and fire in the players' eyes?
- Yes, certainly. I believe in the team, and being professionals they perfectly understand what situation we are in. We have no other option than to go out and fight for the win.
- Does SKA not have one line that can suffocate CSKA's top one?
- In modern hockey everyone should be able to defend and attack, especially when you play in a team like SKA. We don't have a hard hitting line, but we do have players who can do this job.
