SKA have now beaten Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in seven consecutive KHL matches, equalling the record which was set between 11 November 1966 and 3 April 1968. This current seven-game winning streak against Torpedo began on 4 December 2018 when our players earned an emphatic 6:0 triumph in Saint Petersburg.

18-year-old goalkeeper Yaroslav Askarov didn't concede a single goal for 91 minutes and 40 seconds before Torpedo opened the scoring at the Ice Palace. No goalkeeper under the age of 19 had previously prevented the opponents from hitting the jackpot for such a long time in SKA's Russian history. However, the overall Soviet record still belongs to Evgeny Belosheykin, who didn't concede a goal for more than 130 successive minutes when he was 17 years and seven months of age.

Defenseman Yaroslav Dyblenko possesses six (2+4) points in 50 competitive SKA appearances.

Fellow defenseman Nikita Zorkin, 20, made his KHL debut with SKA.

This is the first time when Swedish defenseman Lukas Bengtsson has tallied points in three matches in a row for SKA.

Torpedo forward Vadim Pereskokov, who scored the only goal for his team in Saint Petersburg, had previously netted against SKA in the KHL on 18 January 2018 for Admiral Vladivostok.
