26 November 2023

This was the 200th competitive match between SKA and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod in the domestic championship. So far, SKA have achieved 98 victories, while Torpedo have tallied 86 wins and the remaining 16 games ended in a draw. The goal difference is 666-636 in SKA's favour.

The equalising goal scored by forward Alex Galchenyuk in the third period marked SKA's 100th of the current KHL campaign. It took our team 34 games to reach this landmark.

Fellow forward Valentin Zykov became the first SKA player in history to score a winning penalty shot in a shootout after netting twice during regulation time. Overall, if we take all tournaments into consideration, then SKA have now registered 62 shootout triumphs.

SKA have now recovered from a three-goal deficit on 12 occasions in the KHL (six at home, six on the road). In Saint Petersburg, SKA have subsequently gone on to emerge victorious in five of those particular matches.

Boasting 24 (11+13) points from 33 appearances so far, Galchenyuk has set a club record concerning the amount of points gained by a player from the USA in one season. The previous SKA record was held by Steve Moses with 22 (12+10) points in the 2015/2016 campaign.
