1:6 marked SKA's biggest home defeat in the KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs, beating the previous record of 0:4 against Dynamo Moscow in Saint Petersburg on 11 March 2016. Furthermore, this scoreline equalled the overall club record in the playoffs, following in the footsteps of the 1:6 loss to Dynamo on the road in Moscow on 3 April 2012.

Just like on 30 November 2012, Spartak defeated SKA 6:1 in the KHL. That particular result had been earned in the Russian capital with their forward Alexander Khokhlachyov recording two (1+1) points.

In eight KHL playoff games between these two teams in Saint Petersburg, SKA have conceded five defeats with a negative goal difference of 16-23.

With a -5 plus/minus rating, defenseman Mikko Lehtonen set a somewhat unwanted record for SKA in the KHL. The previous plus/minus record was -4, which was recorded by seven SKA defensemen. Moreover, Nikita Gusev became the first SKA forward to tally a -4 plus/minus rating in the KHL.

For the fourth time in 14 KHL seasons, SKA conceded two empty-net goals in one single match.

Between 1996 and 2022, SKA have conceded 100 goals when on the powerplay in the domestic championship.

Spartak defenseman Alexander Nikishin became the fourth player in the KHL to score against SKA with a mere one second remaining in regulation time, following in the footsteps of Yury Babenko (Dynamo Moscow), Evgeny Dadonov (Donbass Donetsk) and Jori Lehtera (Sibir Novosibirsk).

Spartak forward Sergei Shirokov became the fourth KHL player to score into the empty net both for and against SKA in the league.
