SKA became the first KHL club to win 25 Gagarin Cup playoff series. Furthermore, SKA qualified for the Western Conference final for the seventh consecutive year.

It's also worth pointing out that SKA have won 13 of the 25 victorious series by a score of 4-1.

For the first time in history, SKA won all four games of a particular KHL playoff series by a score of 2:1. Overall in the KHL, this is the second occasion when this has occured, with Ak Bars Kazan having achieved this against Salavat Yulaev Ufa in 2017 when earning four 2:1 victories to progress to the next phase.

Despite scoring less goals than Spartak Moscow in this quarter-final series (9-10), SKA still managed to progress to the semi-finals. Never before had SKA qualified for the next stage of the playoffs after being outscored in the series by the opponents. Moreover, a tally of nine goals in a victorious playoff series is a new club anti-record. The previous anti-record was 11 goals against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in 2016.

SKA have earned 40 victories in 60 KHL games against Spartak. The capital-based organisation became the third team in the league after CSKA Moscow and Dynamo Moscow to concede a minimum of 40 defeats against SKA.

Forward Mikhail Vorobyov has earned 23 (6+17) points in 50 competitive SKA appearances. Taking into account his days as a Salavat Yulaev player, Mikhail has now picked up 50 (16+34) points in 161 KHL matches.

If we take into account forwards, only Ilya Kovalchuk (367), Viktor Tikhonov (390), Ilya Kablukov (396) and Evgeny Ketov (512) have competed in more SKA games than Anton Burdasov (334).

Boasting 19 (8+11) points when facing Spartak, forward Nikita Gusev is now SKA's top scorer in the KHL against these opponents. Nikita is our club's leading scorer in KHL matches against 10 different teams.
