SKA have renewed contracts with Igor Shestyorkin and Pyotr Khokhryakov

SKA Hockey Club have signed contracts with goaltender Igor Shestyorkin and forward Pyotr Khokhryakov. Both agreements will last for two years. During this season Igor played for both the main team, SKA-1946 and SKA-Karelia, and became a Gagarin Cup champion as well as a silver medalist of the Russian championship. Pyotr made 33 SKA appearances, and also won the Gagarin Cup coupled with a Russian championship silver medal.
SKA vice-president Roman Rotenberg:
- Igor Shestyorkin is a true fighter. He played in three separate leagues this campaign, and didn't let anyone down, He was a shootout expert for SKA, and then helped SKA-1946 to the MHL Kharlamov Cup final. We're happy, that such a player will keep on progressing with SKA.
Pyotr is a pacy and technical forward, and is always pumped up to go out and win. He worked hard for every inch of the ice. SKA need such players - players who are prepared to give everything and get the result. He will be able to get even better during the upcoming pre-season.
The main thing is that both players want to fight for Saint Petersburg, and we're happy to have them in our team.
