SKA - Metallurg Magnitogorsk. Match facts

16 September 2017

This is the first time when SKA have beaten Metallurg Magnitogorsk in four straight KHL matches. Also, seven consecutive victories at home has equalled the previous record set in the 2008/2009 and 2012/2013 seasons.

It took SKA seven home matches to concede a goal on the penalty kill. This is a new personal best for the club in the KHL. However, SKA didn't concede shorthanded goals for seven games in the 1997/1998 Russian championship.

Dinar Khafizullin competed in his 200th SKA match. So far, he owns 53 points (12+41). Dinar is SKA's fourth KHL defenseman to reach this landmark after Yury Alexandrov (206), Dmitry Kalinin (292) and Maxim Chudinov (313).

Forward Viktor Tikhonov netted his 80th goal for SKA. They have come against 28 different KHL opponents.

On his 10th SKA appearance, Vladislav Gavrikov picked up his first assist.

Patrik Hersley is the first SKA defenseman in history to score winning overtime goals in both the KHL regular season and playoffs.
