SKA - Lokomotiv. Game four facts

This was the first time in history that SKA kept Lokomotiv off the score sheet for two games in a row. Only six times before had the club taken shutouts against these opponents, and they were all with different goaltenders.
The first ever goalkeeper to prevent Yaroslavl from scoring was Valery Ivannikov on the 6th of November 1988 - 2:0
These two victories have become the fourth time that SKA have kept two shutouts in a row in the playoffs. The other occasions came in 2008 against Spartak and Lokomotiv 4:0, CSKA and Atlant (5:0 and 4:0) in 2012, and in 2013 SKA defeated Atlant 1:0 and 7:0 at home respectively.
Evgeny Dadonov played his 300th KHL match, and so far he has 209 points (104+105).
Nikita Gusev scored his first goal in the KHL Gagarin Cup playoffs. Before making the move to SKA, Nikita had only played in one playoff match for his old team HC CSKA Moscow (ironically that was against SKA).
In the entire club's history, Finnish goaltender Mikko Koskinen has more KHL playoff shutouts than any other player in his position - five. Jakub Stepanek had four.
Also, Mikko is now in third place for all time KHL games played for SKA among goalkeepers - 88. Only Ilya Ezhov (93) and Jakub Stepanek (95) have made more KHL appearances.
