Igor Shestyorkin became SKA's youngest goaltender in history to reach ten KHL shutouts. Yesterday, Igor prevented Jokerit Helsinki from scoring at 21 years, 7 months and 26 days old.

It has taken Igor just 58 appearances to reach this landmark. Only Robert Esche required less matches to record 10 shutouts (42). Four SKA goalkeepers have taken ten Russian championship shutouts: Igor Shestyorkin, Mikko Koskinen, Valery Ivannikov, Maxim Sokolov and Robert Esche.

In previous seasons, SKA had never taken a shutout so early in the KHL campaign. However, it was SKA's 60th in KHL regular seasons.

Overall, SKA own a positive 2052-1352 KHL goal difference in 622 games.

On his 93rd SKA appearance, forward Sergei Shirokov gained his 50th club point (19+31).

Igor Shestyorkin has played against Jokerit twice in Saint Petersburg, earning a shutout in both matches.

Ilya Kovalchuk boasts 12 points against Jokerit (6+6) in as many games.
