SKA - Jokerit. Match day

Today on the 15th of February, SKA will play their final home game of the KHL regular season against Jokerit Helsinki. These two opponents know each other extremely well, having already played against each other three times this campaign. Our team have won 4:1 and 3:1 in Saint Petersburg and Helsinki respectively, with Jokerit claiming a 3:1 victory in the Finnish capital as well.

Jokerit have been excellent in their debut KHL season, taking the league by storm and climbing as high as fourth in the Western Conference with 111 points. They did have third however, until closest rivals Dynamo Moscow defeated the Finns 2:1 in the Hartwall Arena recently. Indeed Jokerit have lost their past two games, including that game against Dynamo and a 3:4 setback against Avangard on the road, and they will be wanting to get back to winning ways today. American forward Steve Moses is still their top scorer with 55 points to his name (35+20), with Ryan Gunderson being their most productive defenceman on 34 points (5+29).

Having triumphed against Dinamo Riga 3:1 on Wednesday our team have got their confidence back, and are still second in the same conference with 118 points. Slovan and Medvescak have already had their chances of making the playoffs taken away from them, while CSKA Moscow have made sure that they will move on into the post-season with the first seed.

The SKA - Jokerit match will begin at 17.30 local time. 100 TV and KHL TV HD will both broadcast the game live, while you can also keep up to date with events either by following our matchcentre, or our twitter account.
