SKA and Dinamo Minsk have agreed on a trade 21:36

SKA and Dinamo Minsk have agreed on a trade. Defenseman Sergei Sapego and forward Vladimir Alistrov are transferring to Saint Petersburg, with forward Alexander Volkov moving in the opposite direction.

HC SKA welcomes Sergei and Vladimir to Saint Petersburg, while thanking Alexander for his efforts with our club!

Sergei Sapego:

- This is a serious step in my career! SKA is a major organisation which fights for the Gagarin Cup on a yearly basis. I know that SKA always play in accordance with a specific system, they have a team which boasts plenty of high-quality players. I experienced their style of ice hockey when participating in the recent series between the Belarusian and Russian national teams. Furthermore, Stepan Falkovsky told me that SKA is a top organisation which possesses plenty of excellent coaches.
What associations do I have with Saint Petersburg? White nights and the bridges opening up! I will study the city in more detail before I move there. I will try to make SKA’s passionate fans happy with my performances. Moreover, I would like to thank the supporters in Minsk for their belief in me.

Vladimir Alistrov:

- Of course I am happy with the news! SKA is a top club with strong coaches, the organisation always sets the highest of targets. We competed against SKA in the KHL playoffs in the last three seasons, and I recently played against the Russian national team which has plenty of players from Saint Petersburg. Stepan Falkovsky informed me that there’s an excellent group here and that SKA possesses all of the required tools for future development. I don’t know a lot about Saint Petersburg yet, but I do know about the white nights and bridges which open up. I also know that the fans here really do love their ice hockey! I would like to thank Dinamo Minsk for always showing faith in me.
