Mikko Koskinen boasts 16 SKA shutouts, more than any other goalkeeper in the history of the club. Robert Esche, who earned 15, is now in second place. Nine of Mikko's SKA shutouts have come in the KHL playoffs, with the remaining seven in the regular season.

Also, Mikko is the leading Finnish goalkeeper for KHL playoff shutouts. Taking into account his time with Sibir, he has ten overall, beating Petri Vehanen's best of nine.

Nikita Gusev has 212 points (89+123) from 300 KHL matches. 130 of those points (46+84) have come in 114 SKA matches.

Fellow forward Nikolai Prokhorkin played in his 50th SKA game. So far, he owns 15 points (7+8).

Dinar Khafizullin made his 50th SKA KHL playoff appearance. In those games, he has picked up six points (1+5).

This is the first time when SKA have clinched a series after winning the previous 4:0.

For the second consecutive year, SKA killed off Dynamo's challenge with a 2:0 triumph in Saint Petersburg. SKA have now beaten Dynamo three seasons on the bounce.

SKA have won all eight series which have lasted five matches.

In the past, the team which won game one between SKA and Dynamo Moscow went on to win the series. That tradition has now been broken.
