SKA - Dynamo Moscow. Game Five facts

19 March 2015

It is the first time that SKA have played 70 matches in a Russian season, and that record will only keep on rising with every game. The previous best was in the 2011/2012 season, when the team played 69 games. The overall record however was back in the Soviet times, as in the 1968/1969 campaign the team played 83 matches.

In SKA's 68th KHL Gagarin Cup playoff appearance, the team won in overtime for the tenth time.

It was Yury Alexandrov's 200th SKA match, from which he has 44 points (11+33).

Dinar Khafizullin has now played in 250 KHL matches, with 58 points to his name (14+44).

Norwegian Patrick Thoresen has played in 50 SKA playoff matches, racking up 43 points (14+29). With that amount of points, he is SKA's top overall points scorer in the playoffs.

It is now officially Vadim Shipachyov's most productive season. This campaign so far he has 63 points (16+47), beating his 2011/2012 record where he picked up 62 points for HC Severstal (23+39).

Yevgeni Dadonov, just like Artemiy Panarin, now has an overtime winner both in this regular season and the playoffs.
