SKA have achieved six victories in overtime so far during the 2019/2020 KHL regular season, one more than in the 2015/2016 campaign.

Dynamo Moscow became the first club which SKA defeated in eight straight KHL regular season games across just two seasons.

To date, SKA have played against Dynamo Moscow 250 times in matches of the domestic championship, registering 75 victories and 594 goals.

Artyom Zub, the scorer of the winning goal at the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace, is the third SKA defenseman to tally at least two markers in overtime during one KHL regular season. Andrei Kozyrev (2002/2003) and Patrik Hersley (2017/2018) achieved this in the past.

In his 20th appearance for the club, fellow defenseman Igor Ozhiganov scored his maiden SKA goal.

Evgeny Ketov, Sergei Plotnikov and Ilya Kovalchuk have all racked up 308 penalty minutes in the KHL with SKA. Only Maxim Chudinov (358) and Evgeny Artyukhin (532) have more.

Maxim Afinogenov scored against SKA as a Dynamo Moscow player for the second time in his career, having first found the net on 12 January 2005.
