SKA and Dinamo Minsk scored a combined total of seven goals in just 9 minutes and 41 seconds during the third period. This is indeed a new KHL record.

Furthermore, five goals in 6 minutes and 23 seconds and six goals in 9 minutes and 10 seconds are both club records for SKA.

For the first time in 1007 KHL matches, SKA tallied six goals in one period of play. Previously, our team had netted five goals in one stanza on 10 occasions. Nevertheless, the record is seven goals in one period (against Spartak Moscow on 4 December 2011 and Dinamo Minsk on 2 March 2022).

His first assist yesterday was Nikita Gusev's 250th in 325 SKA games. The forward has dished out a minimum of one assist against all 28 KHL clubs which he has played against for SKA.

Gusev now boasts 201 (80+121) points in KHL home games for SKA, overtaking Ilya Kovalchuk in the ranking (200 home points) to move into first place in this category. It's also worth pointing out that Gusev has registered a minimum of four points in one particular competitive match for SKA eight times, a club record.

Gusev is also now SKA's leading scorer in the KHL against Dinamo Minsk with 20 (7+13) points on the board.

Both defenseman Nikita Kamalov (3+6) and forward Maxim Groshev (3+4) made their 50th appearances for the senior SKA team.

Pavel Varfolomeev is now Dinamo Minsk's leading scorer against SKA with 11 (9+2) points. This also marked the third successive match in which he hit the jackpot against our team in the current campaign.
