This was the seventh occasion in 16 KHL seasons when SKA twice replaced the goalkeeper during one particular match. In six of those games, SKA have indeed ended up on the losing side.

Dmitrij Jaskin became the third player in the KHL to score both for and against SKA and Ak Bars Kazan in matches between the two organisations, following in the footsteps of fellow forwards Emil Galimov and Vadim Shipachyov.
