Sergei Zubov is leaving SKA

Sergei Zubov, who was SKA's head coach last season, is leaving the club. Alexei Yarushkin and Jari Kaarela have also stopped working with SKA. Maxim Sokolov and Alexander Mikulchik will stay within the club's system, and will work with SKA-1946.

During the 2015/2016 campaign, Sergei Zubov became head coach, and beforehand, he was a member of the coaching staff that won the KHL Gagarin Cup in the 2014/2015 season. In these two years, SKA have been the KHL's most successful club, taking the Gagarin Cup in 2015, and KHL bronze in 2016. SKA Hockey Club thanks these coaches for their work, and wishes them luck for the future.
