Sergei Shirokov: "I hope to play again soon"

- How do you feel, and when can we expect to see you on the ice?

- Time will tell. I'm trying to train at 100%, I'm going extra sessions as a result of missing a number of matches. I'm doing what I can, hopefully I will play again soon.

- The training camp in Novogorsk was intense?

- We worked well, it was a tough camp. Despite not being there for a long time, we put in lots of effort. I think that this will help us for the future.

- Is the team keeping an eye on the winning streak?

- We're not paying attention to it. All teams are burning with desire to beat us, the last game against Dynamo Moscow proved that. It won't be easy against Vityaz either, they have a good team with decent players who can score goals. We have to play solid in defence and take our chances in front of the net.

- SKA have been starting games poorly recently.

- I can't analyse that, it's not my job. The coaches are looking at this issue, we have to play from hard from the opening shift until the last. We have a team which can achieve the highest goals. Tough games are coming up, we have to fight for each other.

- After beating CSKA in the previous match, Vityaz are in the playoff zone.

- Before the game, we will analyse their special teams, look at how to play five on five and get ready for a difficult fixture. Everyone wants to beat us, it's our job to not let them do that.
