Salavat Yulaev - SKA. Match facts

27 January 2015

Despite the defeat, SKA had already repeated the club KHL record for the longest away winning streak - six. That series itself came at the start of this KHL campaign, as our team scored 29 while conceding only nine with every victory coming in normal time. In this particular series of wins, 20 goals were scored with seven flying past our netminders.

The overall SKA Russian championship record for the most amount of away victories in a row came back in the 2007/2008 season - seven.

Dmitry Kalinin is the first SKA defenceman in the KHL regular championship to reach 100 points with the club (36+64). It took him 196 matches to achieve this.

It was also Dmitry's 60th Russian championship goal, with 41 of those coming for SKA.

On the 21st of January Salavat Yulaev defenceman Kirill Koltsov became the all time top scoring defenceman of Russian and Soviet championships. He has an incredible 376 points to his name (91+285), and during his time with SKA in the 2011/2012 season he set a number of club records too. 32 assists in the regular season matched Sergey Zubov's record, nine in the play-offs was then also equalled by Kevin Dallman, and 41 assists in one season is a record on its own.
