Nikolai Drozdetsky would have turned 60

Today on the 14th of June, SKA legend and one of Saint Petersburg's best forwards in history Nikolai Drozdetsky would have turned 60 years old.

Born on June 14th 1957 in Kolpino, Nikolai Drozdetsky begun his career with SKA in 1975. He then spent four seasons as a CSKA player, before returning to SKA. In 1984, Nikolai became an Olympic champion. He scored 253 goals in more than 500 USSR championship matches.

Nikolai Drozdetsky passed away at the age of 38.
