Neftekhimik - SKA. Match facts

Ilya Kovalchuk scored his 100th Russian championship and KHL goal. 27 of them have been for Ak Bars and Khimik, and 73 for SKA from 177 appearances for our team. His first goal came on the 24th of September 2004 in a Ak Bars - Metallurg game, and his debut SKA goal was on the 3rd of October 2012 against Neftekhimik at home. 69 goals have been scored on equal teams, 27 on the powerplay, and four shorthanded. Ilya has also scored more goals away from home: 47 against 53.
His 100 goals have come against 31 different opponents, with even four of them being scored against SKA while playing for Ak Bars and Khimik. His favourite opponents however are HC CSKA Moscow, a team which he has scored against 15 times (12 a SKA player). While player of our club, Ilya is yet to find the net against Avangard, Salavat Yulaev, Admiral and HC Sochi.
Ilya's goal yesterday was his 62nd KHL regular championship marker, and he has now overtaken Maxim Sushinsky in that category. Only Tony Martensson and Patrick Thoresen have more SKA KHL regular championship goals.
It was Ilya Ezhov's 88th SKA appearance, and overall he has conceded 173 goals.
This penalty shootout win was SKA's 30th in the KHL. Ilya Ezhov has won more shootouts than any other SKA goaltender - eight. Robert Esche is in second, as he has five victories to his name. Also, Ilya has never lost a SKA penalty series when he started the shootout himself. Only once on the 27th of September did SKA go down in a shootout with Ilya in net, but Jakub Stepanek had been in net for the opponent's first shot. The only SKA goaltender to lose all of his shootouts is Sergei Bobrovsky - he lost two out of two.
It was Vadim Shipachyov's 150th SKA match, and he has 125 points for our team (34+91).
Anton Burdasov had 17 points in the KHL's regular season last year (9+8), and with 18 points already this time around he has set a new personal best (9+9).
