SKA will play on the anniversary of the lifting of the Siege of Leningrad

SKA Hockey Club's home match against Lokomotiv Yaroslavl as a part of the 2025/2026 KHL regular season on 27 January will be dedicated to the 82nd anniversary of the lifting of the Siege of Leningrad.
As a consequence of this, the game will indeed begin at 19:44 local time at the Saint Petersburg Ice Palace.
The Siege Museum exhibit will be on display in the stadium's foyer. Fans will also enjoy a themed photo zone and a large-scale pre-game show featuring an orchestra and figure skating performances. Singer and Golden Mask National Theatre Award winner Ivan Ozhogin will perform a patriotic repertoire in the arena, and the arena's main guests will, of course, be residents and children of the besieged city.
Our team will take to the ice in special jerseys, in line with a tradition which was originally established in 2014 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Leningrad's liberation from the Siege. This season, the club has designed a completely jersey, inspired not only by the heroism of the city, its residents and its defenders, but also by the atmosphere of the time: patriotic posters and radio broadcasts, road signs and warning signs on buildings, newspaper headlines and excerpts from the Soviet Information Bureau.
