SKA Hockey Club will hold a campaign in Saint Petersburg for people to join the Federal Bone Marrow Donor Registry.
The event has been organised with the assistance of The Bone Marrow Donor Development Centre and the Federal Medical and Biological Agency of Russia.
On the eve of World Bone Marrow Donor Day, fans who want to become potential bone marrow donors and who have no health or weight restrictions will be able to join the Federal Bone Marrow Donor Registry during SKA's home match against Dinamo Minsk.
Furthermore, everyone who attends the match will witness a rare event - a meeting between a donor and a recipient. This will indeed be the first time when they meet personally.
If you wish to join the bone marrow donation register, please read the information on the following link.
World Bone Marrow Donor Day is celebrated on the third Saturday of each September. This year it falls on 20 September.
You can also bring toys along for children in need! However, please note that soft or plush toys cannot be accepted. All toys must be new and in individual packaging (if applicable).
Puck-drop against Dinamo Minsk on 19 September is scheduled for 19:30 local time, but the Ice Palace will open its doors two hours prior. Tickets can be purchased online at tickets.ska.ru.
