Maxim Fedotov: "I want my father's surname to be engraved on the Gagarin Cup"

After signing for SKA, defenseman Maxim Fedotov shared his emotions:
HC SKA defenseman Maxim Fedotov:
- I am really happy to have joined SKA! It's a large organisation with lofty ambitions. Moreover, with my father Sergei Fedotov having played for SKA, our family possesses a special connection with Saint Petersburg. I want my father's surname to be engraved on the Gagarin Cup. It's great that both my brother and I are moving to SKA, we've signed four-year deals with the organisation and want to help the club achieve major victories.
During the Super Series with the national team, I spoke to Roman Rotenberg and got an understanding as to what the coaches want to see. SKA has plenty of fantastic coaches, and all of the players here are great guys. We will travel to Saint Petersburg tomorrow.
I'm sure that the support from the fans will be wonderful, it will be great to play for them and not against them!
