The Ski Arrow event is scheduled for 25 January!

For the fourth year in a row, SKA Hockey Club in partnership with the Saint Petersburg Committee for Physical Culture and Sport, will hold a race as part of the Ski Arrow project. Anyone interested can join the skiing and hiking trip on 25 January.

All participants will board the special Ski Arrow train to the outskirts of the village of Toksovo, where groomed ski trails of 5, 10 and 15 km are located near the Toksovo train station. Participants can choose a suitable distance based on their skill level. Experienced instructors will assist all participants, providing introductory briefings and accompanying the group along all routes. As is traditional, SKA's mascot, Firehorse, will also join the race.

Cross-country skiing is not required to join the club on this short trip to the Leningrad Region—the trip also includes walks through the winter forest.

Any SKA fan can participate in the race and ride the atmospheric Ski Arrow train by filling out the form at the link. We recommend disabling your VPN for the data collection form to work properly.

Please note that space is limited!

Please bring:

• Any SKA merchandise (hat, scarf, mittens, jersey, jacket, etc.)
  Ski equipment (skis, boots, poles) if you plan to participate in the race;
• A change of clothes (socks, mittens);
• A flask of tea;
• A small snack.

Tickets for the train will be sent to participants the day before the race to the email addresses provided in the registration form.

The train carrying SKA fans will depart from the Finlyandskiy Railway Station on the morning of 25 January, approximately at 10:45 (the exact time will be announced later; the organisers will contact all participants). The entire trip will take approximately six hours, with the train arriving back in Saint Petersburg around 16:40.

Due to unstable weather conditions, the trip may be rescheduled to a later date. We are monitoring the snow conditions on the slopes in Toksovo, and if the snow conditions are unsatisfactory by the scheduled date, the event will be rescheduled, and all registered participants will be notified accordingly.
