Lokomotiv - SKA. Match facts

Alex Galchenyuk became the first SKA player to score 10 KHL goals in the current campaign. We did indeed have to wait 31 matches for at least one of our players to net 10 markers, beating the previous longest wait of 26 games in the 2020/2021 campaign (Anton Burdasov).

The club record for the shortest time required for 10 goals in a KHL season belongs to Ilya Kovalchuk, who only needed six games to reach double figures in the 2014/2015 campaign!

Furthermore, Galchenyuk became the 35th SKA player to score a minimum of 10 goals in his maiden season for our senior team. It's also worth pointing out that his goal in Yaroslavl against Lokomotiv on Saturday was his first game-winner for SKA.

Fellow forwards Vladimir Alistrov (three matches, 1+3) and Nikolai Polyakov (two matches, 1+2) both extended their streaks of consecutive games with points.
