Lokomotiv - SKA. Match day

SKA will complete this KHL away series with a match in Yaroslavl against HC Lokomotiv.
These two teams are familiar to one another, having met in the first round of the 2015/2016 KHL playoffs. SKA confidently won 4:1, however, Lokomotiv are traditionally difficult opponents for our team. Today's game promises to be no different, as the hosts are coming off the back of four wins in their past five. The most recent match saw them defeat CSKA Moscow 3:1 in impressive style, and they do now occupy fourth place in the Western Conference on 52 points. Brandon Kozun is their top scorer with 25 points (9+16), while first choice goaltender Alexei Murygin holds a 92.3% saves percentage. Interestingly, no Lokomotiv has yet netted ten goals this campaign.
Our team passed a tough task in Moscow with flying colours, defeating Dynamo and Vityaz Podolsk 3:2 and 4:0 respectively. Such form has allowed SKA to extend the lead to nine points at the top of the table, and the winning streak does now stand at 13. Ilya Kovalchuk, who scored twice against Vityaz, already has a huge 38 points (18+20).
The Lokomotiv - SKA match will begin at 17.00 Moscow time inside the Arena 2000, Yaroslavl. Life78 and KHL TV will broadcast live, and you can follow events on our official Twitter account.
